On a lively Sunday night in Lincoln, Nebraska, The Bourbon Theatre pulsed with electrifying energy, infused with patchouli, neon, and vibrant vibes, as Big Gigantic’s Brighter Future Tour Vol II took center stage. Joined by special guests AHEE and EASYBAKED, the electronic dance music (EDM) concert delivered an unforgettable experience for fans of live electronic music performances.

AHEE Kicks Off the Night with High-Energy EDM Mashups

The evening began with AHEE, a dynamic EDM artist, igniting the stage. As the lights dimmed, the crowd was transported into a sonic adventure. AHEE, the self-proclaimed “redwood Californian man-fish,” opened with a cinematic mashup of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, greeting the audience with an enthusiastic, “What’s good, aliens?” His set featured a diverse mix of EDM mashups, remixes, and original tracks, captivating the crowd with his innovative sound. AHEE’s performance set the tone for an epic night of electronic dance music.

AHEE’s tour continues through March, with performances at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on March 3 and 4, followed by the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 18. Additional stops include Live Oak Camp in Santa Barbara, California, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on April 14, and a final show at HopMonk Tavern in Sebastopol, California, on May 6.

EASYBAKED Elevates the Vibe with Melodic and Progressive House

Next, EASYBAKED, an emerging electronic dance music DJ and producer from Los Angeles, California, took the stage for their final performance on the tour. Known for their unique blend of melodic house and progressive house, EASYBAKED has quickly become one of the most promising talents in the EDM scene. Their set featured a mix of classic tracks, unreleased music, and new collaborations, delivering heavy bass to a packed house. The energy was infectious, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement.

EASYBAKED’s upcoming performances include the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California, on February 25 and Bama Slam Water Park and Campground in New Brockton, Alabama, on May 5.

Big Gigantic Delivers a Stunning Audio-Visual EDM Experience

The headliner, Big Gigantic, an American electronic dance music duo from Boulder, Colorado, closed the night with a performance that left the crowd in awe. Comprising Dominic Lalli on saxophone, keyboards, and production, and Jeremy Salken on drums, percussion, and production, Big Gigantic is renowned for blending electronic dance music with live instrumentation. With four studio albums, including their 2018 release Brighter Future and 2022’s Brighter Future 2, the duo has toured extensively, collaborating with artists like Gramatik, GRiZ, and Logic.

Their set at The Bourbon Theatre featured a mix of fan-favorite hits from Brighter Future (2016), the deluxe version (2017), and Brighter Future 2 (2022), alongside several unreleased tracks debuted exclusively for the Lincoln audience. The audio-visual spectacle transformed the venue, immersing fans in a transcendent EDM experience. The Brighter Future Tour Vol II resumed on February 22 with special guests TVBOO and AHEE, with stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Tucson, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Diego, California; and concluding in Flagstaff, Arizona, on February 26.

Big Gigantic will also perform two nights at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, Colorado, with the Colorado Symphony and unannounced special guests on March 17 and 18.
